Lafanierre Park Lights.

Sorry I can't say Christmas Lights,  no Christ,  who knows Christmas Shrimp, Crab, Crawfish,
and the unforgettable Christmas Lombardi Trophy.  What the hell's going on . So this is Christmas. I don't think so . Lights don't make it Christmas, especially  seafood and trophy's.
There's 3 camels but no Wise Men..  Plenty Santa's , Reindeer, Toys, Mr Bingle, Mr Bingo, Angels,
Snowmen, a Helicopter, Candy Canes, Christmas Trees, but no Christ,
no manger, no crib, no Mary and Joseph. Let's call it Neutralmas. or Politicallycorrectmas.
or The Christian Holiday that is stifled by non Christian religions.
Anyway the lights are pretty, worth seeing, kids love it, it is 3 dollars per car so load it up.
They don't charge me on my bike cause they can't catch me. Riding in Lafanierre at night is exciting, if you get off the street you get to dodge the escaping Nutrias, rolled over a few, bump bump.
Ducks and Geese are everywhere, duck and Goose doo doo is everywhere.
I like to look into the oak trees where the squirrels build their nest of twigs and leaves, looks warm and cozy from the outside, failing to remember ,squirrels are pelted in warm fuzzy fur.
My cheeks get red and numb, my fingers numb, my toes numb and as usual my brain numbs.
On my 10th Christmas Santa brought me a 9 transistor radio with a single ear plug, my love for music started in earnest.   I tell my kids I got a stick one Christmas and a Ball the next so it took us 2 years to play ball.
I was told ,since we didn't have a chimney, that Santa had keys to every ones house,, I felt that was kinda risky, what if he went on a crime spree in the summer. I've played Santa many times and some kid always questions my rubber boots cause he saw them at Walmart.  Where did he think Santa Shopped.
Have a Christmas with Christ, go to Church,  enjoy your children, grandchildren, and friends,
after you've done that do what I do , eat then take a nap.
Merry Christmas.
